A/R: Fire Consumes 3 Vehicles in Kumasi

Three vehicles have been reportedly razed down in a fire outbreak at Kronum Kwapra in the Suame Municipality of Ashanti Region.

Two Pregio mini bus and a taxi all of a sum of thousands of Ghana Cedis have been burnt into ashes in the early hours of Friday dawn at the Kwapra community at a suburb called New Life.

Vehicles razed by fire

Reports suggest the cars were parked at their usual place in front of one the driver’s house where the sad incidents happened.

Eyewitness Mr. Nsiah Emmanuel a driver told journalists that, the fire started around 1am on Friday dawn but all attempts by residents to quench the fire proved futile.

“When the fire started we (residents) mobilized ourselves to put out the fire but we couldn’t,” he said.

A driver one of the Pregio cars, Kwadwo Christopher explained that he was at sleep when he heard neighbors chanting fire !!fire!!.
“I quickly rushed to the scene, but there nothing could I do to save my car”.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) branch at the area managed to put out the fire but the fire had already consumed the vehicles.

The actual cause of the outbreak is not known yet.

However the Ghana Police at Kwapra are on investigations to fish out the cause.
