Banking: We need more of Asafo GCB Manager in the system-customers

The media has been inundated with several calls mostly from Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) customers and first time customers who have had personal encounter with Mr. Sampson Anokye, the bank’s Manager for Asafo in Kumasi to add their voice to the commendation by other customers who previously spoke to this paper about an exemplary leadership of the Manager which need to be emulated by all leaders in the country.

According to them, if the caliber of all Ghanaians are like Mr. Sampson Anokye, the Asafo Market  branch manager of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) then Ghana would be the next to heaven.

The New Trust Newspaper’s attention was recently drawn to the public servant and decided to embark on our own investigation to confirm the numerous appraisals customers poured on Mr.Sampson Anokye.  We found out that Mr Anokye has all the qualities needed as a leader to move an organization like humility, accommodation, respect, patience, hardworking and above all God fearing, no wonder Ghanaians are praising him.

He takes his time to humbly and respectively explain things to customers where their difficulties are irrespective of where you come from.

This reporter disguised himself on several occasions and approach Mr. Anokye and the way he (Mr. Anokye) accorded him was incredible. This paper uncovered that that is how he behaves anywhere he goes and that whenever he is been transfer, the customers and the people in that area weep all because they will find it  difficult to get real replacement.

Meanwhile, a number of customers who spoke to this paper are calling on the state authorities to Honour Mr. Anokye  among other hard working staff in order to inspire others to emulate his shining examples.
