Chief of Adawnwomase in the Kwabere East District of Ashanti Region, Nana Kwadwo Ntiamoah Panin II, has pledged he is going to make his community a better place to the standard of London, the capital city of England for his people.
It is my biggest aspiration to develop and make Adawnwomase, a small London in Ghana, Nana Kwadwo Ntiamoah Panin II, chief of Adawnwomase told Newstimesgh.com in an exclusive interview.
His vision, according to him has always concentrated on proper development of Adanwomase a move he believes will uplift his community to become the most developed and beautiful town in Ghana to compete Queen Elizabeth’s London.
Nana Kwadwo Ntiamoah Panin II who was installed the chief of Adawnwomase in about eight months ago has already commenced numerous developmental projects in his community, a move according to him will make his dream of building a ‘London’ in Ghana.
So far, he has started planting of trees in his locality to make it a good environment for his people and making Kente weaving a money-spinning job for his people.
Adawnwomase, is one of the major communities in the Ashanti Region greatly noted for Kente weaving business. It is the main livelihood of most families in the community.
However, Nana Kwadwo Ntiamoah Panin II in his interview with NewstimesGH.com revealed that, he is determined to change the face of Kente weaving to international standard and make farming an attractive venture for the youths to get involved in an attempt to create wealth for his people.
The chief said the development of the community could greatly be achieved if the well-being of his people is adequately enhanced and protected.
The visionary leader also promised to improve on Education, Health and Sanitation, Poverty Alleviation, Wealth Creation and Cultural Modernization to suit the technological world of the 21st century.
Nana Kwadwo Ntiamoah Panin II further advised his people to unite, live in peace to create a good environment for development of the community.
