Coronavirus: Prez Akufo Addo deserves praises than insults – Gnacops communication director to WASSCE students

The National communication director for the Ghana National Council Of Private Schools, Mr Samuel Nyamekye has reacted to the viral video of WASSCE students disrespecting president Akufo Addo over examination questions.

Social media trends have it that some group of students, candidates, of some senior high schools challenged their invigilators and their school authorities for being too strict on them during the examination and invigilation.

This according to the private schools’ communication director is very unfortunate and highly unaccepted in our education system.

” Appeal to pity fallacy is not used in writing and grading candidates in the country, the level of your knowledge determines your grades on paper, this in many ways will help to develop the human capital of the country” Mr Nyamekye said.

Advising the candidates, he said that they should not affront the president and, or their school authorities but should do away with social media as they are writing the examination but take their studies serious for the rest of the papers- the president and their teachers have done a lot for them and so must they be commended than to be affronted.
