COVID-19: Bantama Asenso Boakye donates PPEs to Suntreso Hospital


An aspiring parliamentary candidate of Bantama constituency, Mr. Francis Asenso Boakye also known Bantama Asenso Boakye) who doubles as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Political aide to the President of Ghana has donated Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) to hospital items worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to the Suntreso Government hospital in Kumasi.

The items were presented to the Health Facility on Wednesday, 1st April, 2020 to help in the fight against the deadly COVID- 19.

The presentation was done on behalf of the aspirant by Bantama NPP Constituency Chairman, Mr. Fiifi Mensah together with some constituency executive.

The charity was among several donations the deputy Chief of Staff has embarked on.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital Dr Thomas Agyarko- Poku who received the gifts together with staff of the hospital expressed much enthusiasm towards the donation.

The CEO said the items will help boost the performance of the hospital as it stands to combat the deadly COVID- 19.

He advised members of the Constituency to adhere to the precautionary measures outlined by Ghana Health Service and the President Nana Addo. He believes observance to the precautions will help decline the spread of the disease.
