The Management of Unity Link Financial Services has donated a varieties of medical equipments to the Ghana Health Service[GHS] to assist in the fight against pandemic Covid-19.
The institution donated 400 PPEs kits, 305,000 N95, 12,100 pieces of hand gloves, 1000 pieces of goggles among other items to all the Covid-19 treatment centers in the country.
The centers are located in 5 regions namely, Ashanti (South Hospital), Greater Accra (Ga East and Ridge Hospital), Eastern Region (Koforidua, Begoro and Suhum government hospitals),North East (Walewale Hospital).
The organization donated also alcohol based sanitizers and veronica buckets to Sekyedumase Polyclinic [400 sanitizers and 35 veronica buckets] and Suhum Government Hospital [500 sanitizers and 25 veronica buckets].
Again, CEO of Unity Link Financial Services Mr. Douglas Mensah gave out a check of an amount of GHs 200,000 to Authorities of the Ashanti Regional Health Directorate to be transferred into the Covid-19 fund.
The Bono East Regional Health Director Dr.Fred Adomako Boateng and The Ashanti Regional Health Director Dr. Emmanuel Tenkorang who received the items showered much appreciations to Unity Link for the kind support.
“I don’t know of any company that has done such a generous donation to Ghana Health Service”, the Bono East Regional Health Director Dr.Fred Adomako Boateng, admitted.
