A shocking news reaching our website indicate that a 38 year old driver, Akwasi Wabolo has been missing together with a 560 bags of cocoa, a load he was sent to deliver at the Takoradi port.
According to an insight from Mr. Alex Akwasi Boateng, a transporter in an Olam Cocoa business, his driver was sent on Wednesday to deliver 650 bags of cocoa at the Takoradi port from Tarkwa Nsuaem in the Western region of Ghana.
The sad ordeal in the follow up was that the driver could neither be heard of nor seen after some days he was assigned.
This in turn blew a suspicious alarm after failure in several attempts to reach his phone or get in touch with him.
According to Mr. Alex Boateng (the sender), calls were later made to the authorities at the Takoradi port to find out if the driver Wabolo had reached the area, where the answer was given in negative, meaning the driver was no where to be found.
The insider further reveals that the said Olam driver was last seen on Thursday between Apenim and Aburi on the Elibo highway.
This followed a deep search for the driver which lead to the discovery of the articulated truck left with only 90 bags of cocoa at Abura on the Apenim stretch without the driver and the other 560 bags of cocoa.
The incident was later reported to the Agona Nkwanta police station where investigation is currently ongoing in search for the driver.
Mr Alex Akwasi Boateng who has his eyes peeping in red waters is seriously appealing to the general public to help him find the 38 year old missing driver.
He therefore promises to handsomely reward the fellow with a huge amount of money.
