The Route that directly links Tikrom and Baworo through to Asokore Mampong Municipal has abruptly been shutdown as a results of a bridge that has been left uncompleted by Kofi Job, a popular contractor.
Travellers and commuters say it is the shortest way to fast approach Kumasi Metropolis.
However, it has been left to rot and has grown up into forest.

The contractor in the cause of his work parked off and left the bridge behind.
Motorist, Cyclists and Vehicles have not been able to access the short route for almost a year now ever since the contractor parked off.
Pedestrians who decide to walk from Tikrom to the nearby community, Baworo have to pass through a pool of water, but when it rains, everything ceases.
Some concern residents of the communities told Newstimesgh.com that, “the actual reason the contractor might have cause the mess is unclassified”.
Assembly Member for Tikrom Electoral, Madam Stella Oduro Boateng who spoke to this portal said, several petitions have been submitted to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu , Madam Serwaa Derkyi but she says “I haven’t awarded any contract to anyone”.
The Assembly Member alleged that, Mr Owusu Aduomi has refused to comment on the road’s closure.
