Feature: Ghana is 63 but what can we boast of?

Ghana just celebrated her 63 years of independence which sought most of her citizens unhappy at the current state of their nation.
Many have shown their feelings including the below poem from one of the citizens who feel Ghana is really in a mess.

Poem

Ghana is 63 years old, Hurraaaayyy!!!
Ghana is 63, and we are happy!
Yes, we must be happy but what can we boast of?
The 63 years economy has shrunk like melting rubber.
The 63 years economy has rotten like rotten pawpaw.
What is the matter with Mother Ghana?
We have many able men and women who can do it perfectly, yet we hire other continent nationals to defy our motherland.
We have the capability yet no support from our big and top men in the country.

What is the matter with Mother Ghana?
Almost every boss needs to gain something from a lady before the employment deal.
What is the matter with Mother Ghana?
Manageress sees her fellow lady as a doormat.
Any utterances seem like an insult to her.

What is the matter with Mother Ghana?
No little thing can be done for free by fellow guys for ladies. In return, they expect something in kind. This is a pity.
What is the matter with Mother Ghana?
Close friends mafia colleagues every time and call it life!
Oh my God, what a pity!

What is the matter with Mother Ghana?
Ladies chasing colleagues’ husbands and boyfriends for survival and they call it life?
What is the matter with Mother Ghana?
We sit on gold yet we go through pain, aah!!
I live in a country where injustice is in our DNA.
I live in a country where less than a day is used to repair more than 5 years of spoilt traffic lights when the president was paying a visit.
What were they waiting for aah!
So many go-slows or a traffic jam on our major routes due to poor road networks, and yet, we’re 63 years!!
That’s the country in which I live!

I live in a country where bad roads or bridges are repaired only when a prominent person or relative had an accident or equivalent.
I live in a country where prophets, a man of God and Co are more popular and respected than the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth.
It is pity, shameful and unacceptable to live in such a country
God help us!!
