#FixTheCountry: May 9th We Are Protesting!- Efia Odo Declares

Ghanaian social media influencer and #FixTheCountry advocate Efia Odo has revealed that the group is protesting on May 9th no matter what happens.

Efia Odo stated the protest won’t just be in a day as the group will continue to protest against the government and the leadership of the country until they see that the government is really doing its best to improve the lives of the citizens.

This comes after the Ghana Police Service revealed that it will hit the law court to prevent the group from demonstrating on the streets of the nation’ s capital Accra after the group sent an official letter for approval from the police service to hit the streets of Accra on May 9th to protest against the government.

Earlier today, the actress and model hinted that the conveners of the #FixTheCountry movement were to held a scheduled meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh on his request. But when the group was on their way to meet him, they got a new directive that they should go to the office of the National Security Minister, Hon. Albert Kan-Dappah.

Per the tweets from the conveners of the movement like Kaly Jay and Efia Odo, it seems the meeting was not as successful as they had hope for but they are still in high hopes that the intended protest will come off as planned.

Efia Odo stated that even if it will take her entire life to fight for this to happen, she is more than ready to see it through till the end. She added that she just don’t talk but a person known for taking ‘actions’ and she promised they will pull a surprise on the authorities.

“May 9th we are protesting! And it’s not just a one day protest . We will protest until the demand of the people are met. If it will take me a lifetime, I will not stop. I don’t talk much, just show action. We will pull up on them! #FixthecountryGhana
