Ghana card boost ID Cover business

Identity card [ID] cover business has increased immensely in Ashanti Region since the commencement of the issuance of the Ghana card in December 8 last year.

Registration of the Ghana card ended in the Ashanti region on the January 16, 2020 but ID cover sellers are accumulating huge revenues from the sales.

The sellers say it has created straight employment for them.

Traders are able to sell about 50-60 pieces everyday, thus between GHC100 and GHC 120 therefore they earn a revenue of GHC60 or more each day after sales depending on the number of pieces being sold.

They purchase the covers at a wholesale price of GHC1 each then retail it at GHC 2 [100% increment]

Some sellers told Newstimesgh.com reporter Joe Marfo that the public are much eager to purchase the ID covers to protect their precious Ghana card from filth or dust.

A lot of people have realised the whopping amount of money ID cover traders are accumulating therefore they have resorted to the business and their number keep rising everyday.
