”Wishing I was in Accra”-American Rapper, Chance The Rapper regrets not being in Ghana for Xmas

American rapper and record producer, Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, affectionately known as Chance The rapper has said he wished to have been in the capital of Ghana, Accra for this Xmas season.

Ghanaians celebrate Christmas from December 20th to the first week of January with a variety of events. Many people go to distant parts of the country to see relatives and friends.

This year, in particular, there are a number of shows going on at different places across the country especially in the Greater Accra region. Due to the level of the Covid-19 cases recorded last year, most music shows were halted and postponed in order for proper measures to be laid down before reopening these concerts.

Shatta Wale, Medikal, Sarkodie, Samini, Kofi Kinaata, King Promise, Okyeame Kwame, and other top-tier musicians in Ghana headlined their own shows in this festive season with other event organizers putting together fun shows headlined by numerous musicians.

In view of all the exciting shows and moments being captured in Ghana at the moment, American rapper, Chance The Rapper has regretted never spending his Christmas in Ghana. However, Sarkodie reacted to his tweet, telling him it is never too late to come to Accra and still have quality time.
