The situation has compelled most staff to look up for other alternative where the welfare of workers are paramount after working for eight 8 years for the department.

Other staff who were with the hope for better conditions of service after the departure of their colleagues have still not seen anything positive.

Adding that, our patience are exhausted, this is against labour law in Ghana, we are suffering, and we can no long entertain this unbearable and hardship condition of service any more.

The most unfortunate thing is that, most of these officers normally depend on over draft to survive.

They stated that, ‘we are law abiding staff, so we don’t want to wash our dirty linen in public’.

The aggrieved staff said, several efforts and petitions to head office regarding to their promotions had yielded no positive results.

They also disclosed to the Daily Dispatch that, even lower ranks under them such as Cinema Commentators and secretaries have risen above them in terms of salary.

They are therefore, appealing to Information Minister, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and the Acting Director of Information Services Department to treat it as a matter of urgency so as to avert any demonstration to attract media attention and public bashing.
