The executives of Liberal Party Of Ghana (LPG) led by Mr Percival Kofi Akpaloo and executives of the political party have outlined the intent to place a ban on food importation and other foreign goods should the party win power in 2020 election.
According to them the nation has come of age to produce and consume its own produce.
They believe eating of local produce will help the fast growth and swift transformation of the country .
They added that, Ghana has lost huge sums of money via the importation of goods and service specifically, the importation of commercial rice and poultry production plus other goods.
As a result LPG will provide funding and subsidies to support the farmers to produce more in the country and that will also help to create more jobs to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
Commenting on policies they will make, they said University education would free, Every Ghanaian child will get monthly payment, they will create more jobs in the country, they will provide free wifi in every colleges and schools in the country, they will legalize and regulate marijuana for industrial use, these among other policies .
They also explain to media that, the previous government has done theirs and this is the time for LPG to continue so Ghanaians should vote for them
