Government of Ghana has announced hotlines for needy communities and households to call for food items in this era of lockdown in some parts of the country.
Some parts of Greater Accra Region and Ashanti Region are in partial lockdown as ordered by President Nana Addo last week, a mechanism to minimize the spread of the pandemic coronavirus.
The President on Sunday night, April 5 2020 said the lockdown looks likely to be extended should a large number of the supposed 1,500 who had contact with COVID- 19 patients test prove prove positive for the disease.
As a result, many people in the lockdown areas may go on total starvation since they can no longer raise food for themselves.
So goverment has released the following hotlines for needy communities and households to call for fooditems.
