Breaking: More than 6 severely Injured in Soldiers Brutality at Atafoa

More than 6 residents of Atafoa, a community in the Kumasi Metropolis are severely injured after Soldiers numbering 7 invaded a home believed to be inhabited by people from the Northern region of Ghana.

Reports suggest that the Soldiers invaded the home yesterday and assaulted them both young and old of which they sustained serious injuries.

The Landlord who spoke to Angel FM in Kumasi monitored by Newstimesgh.com this morning said none of the Soldiers spoke on the reasons for their brutality but “I believe a neighbour (retired Soldier) might have instructed the soldiers for our brutality”.

He alleged that, the fence wall of the retired soldier had demolished part of his building of which he alerted him but he (military man) took it as a garbage and never paid heed to it.

Again, the retired military man had connected a waste pipe into a drain where faeces passes through and “it makes the place very stinky”.

I sent several reports to him (retired soldier) but he invariably despised my claims”.

So he believes that those are the reasons for their severe assaults.

The landlord complained also that the Suame Police besieged the hospital together with the retired soldier for their arrest after they had been admitted to hospital.
