The Coalition for National Sovereignty (CNS) has said the New Patriotic Party led by President Nana Addo is running a One Day – one Fraud 1D1F and One Day- One Scandal (1D1S) government in the country.
“Instead of delivering on promises of a better life for the people of this country, this government is busily delivering on One Day, One Fraud (1D1F) and One Day, One Scandal (1D1S)”
CNS which consists of the NDC, PNC, CPP, PPP and other political parties stated in their press released copied to the Daily Dispatch on September 4 2019 that President Addo deceived Ghanaians during his campaign 2016 that he would not tolerate loot and share government should he be voted into power but he has rather embraced a democratization of thievery and the institutionalization of corruption today.
They said the Akufo-Addo family and friends’ government has been infected with unbridled levels of corruption, like a dreaded disease sipping through the pores of a healthy body. “Corruption is no more a case of perception, but now a dreaded reality”.
CNS said President Nana Addo’s government has been slapped with 53 corruption scandals by well meaning Ghanaians yet, no one has been prosecuted by his toothless Special Prosecutor( SP)Martin Amidu. He only asks his corrupt appointees to step aside or refer them to CID for expeditious clearing process.
“President Akufo-Addo, instead of fighting and uprooting corruption has rather turned himself into the Clearing-Agent- In-Chief instead of Commander- In-Chief.
The CNS said PPA,AB Adjei and others, Donkomi Contracts for Sale Scandal, NYA GHC 4.5m Street light Repairs Training Programme, PDS/ECG family and friends scandal, Ministry of Trade/Akufo- Addo – US$100,000 Cash-for seat scandal, US$178m Dubious Ken Ofori Atta/Ursula/Kelni GVG/NCA scandal, Australia Commonwealth Games/Pius Hadzide Visa Scandal and many others should have been prosecuted by the SP, however “they all have been cleared.
CNS believes that there is a conspiracy between President Nana Addo and his appointees hence the looting and sharing governance (wonky3 ndi).
The CNS said they will continue to press and expose the NPP administration on their wickedness, incompetent, corruption ridden, maladministration and misguided rule to the Ghanaians.
Premised on the foregoing, the CNS is set to embark on a demonstration in Kumasi on 19th September, 2019.
