The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh affectionately called Napo, who doubles as the Minister of Education has endowed polling station executives and delegates of the NPP in the Manhyia South constituency with prizes ahead of the imminent Christmas.
The hand-outs which were presented to the executives on Saturday, December 7 this year at a gathering specifically aimed at showing Napo’s appreciations to polling station executives and delegates of the NPP in the Manhyia South Constituency for the support they have bestowed upon him.
The Education Minister acknowledged at the meeting that the Manhyia South constituency executives have supported him massively ever since he was elected the MP for the constituency. And as a result he deemed it appropriate to show much gratitude in a form of contributions (undisclosed cash) in returns.
He advised that the executives must resist all sort of back biting that could lead to the detriment of the prevailing unity among them.
The MP stated again that, the success of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) largely depends on the polling station executives and delegates, therefore a whole heartedly, they must rally behind the party in the upcoming 2020 elections.
Although, there has been rumours circulating in the NPP that, Napo looks likely to go unopposed in the Manhyia South constituency, but he has emphatically stated that he will be very glad to see party members contesting him in the NPP’s parliamentary primaries on 25 April, 2020.
