Tokwai Asuboi Pupils Jubilate over Erudite Women’s Empowerment Foundation‘s alms
Erudite Women’s Empowerment Foundation, a registered and an award-winning NGO based in Konongo has donated over 1000 exercise books worth GHC 2,000 to the students of Tokwai Asuboi primary and JHS, a rural community in the Asante Akim South Municipality of Ashanti Region.
The benefaction forms part of the organization’s annual humanitarian activities dubbed: “Books4AsanteAkyem”, which seeks to empower young people in Asante Akim, especially the girl child to achieve quality education so as to obtain higher academic performance and reduce school drop-outs.
Miss Ohenewaa Constance Ankoma, the founder of Erudite Women’s Empowerment Foundation in her assertion mentioned that, students should be innovative and exhibit their potentials to the world irrespective of their present geographical location.
She assured that, a lot more of the learning materials would be supplied again.
The organization will also assist the schools to resolve some pertinent infrastructural challenges.
Miss Ohenewaa appealed to authorities of the school to take proper care of the books to serve the purpose for which they have been given to the students.
She eulogised the chiefs and the the people of Tokwai Asuboi for the special reception.
She also acknowledge her sponsors, donors and volunteers for their outstanding contributions in making the project a success.
Erudite Women’s Empowerment Foundation is an entity committed to empowering women and girls in Ghana to help them attain fullest potentials.
It encourages pupils and parents in deprived communities to know the importance of education and making sure that system improves for the development of Ghana.
