Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye swerves Angel TV for Sompa FM

Unlike the European Winter Transfer Window which opened on January 1 and would close on February 1, that of the radio transfer industry continues all year round and that we can therefore state that the 2022 radio transfer window has officially been opened with a bang.

Renowned Morning and Political Talk show host, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye has officially joined newly-established Sompa FM in Kumasi after resigning from Kessben Media late last year.

Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye in post on his Facebook page Friday morning announced the new move.

The Radio and Television Program (RTP) award winning broadcaster who has raised the Kesben FM morning show from a low-level listenership to sought-after show, and even taken it to international levels from the beginning of their television channel is said to have had few challenges with the management of the media house.

Until his exit from Kessben FM, Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye was the host of Maakye, morning show on Kessben 93.3FM Kumasi, Kessben 92.9FM Accra and Kessben TV. He also hosted Saturday morning political talkshow, Amansan Tie.
