Technical and Vocational Education is the Backbone of Ghana – government told

The Mmerantiehene of Dibebi, a community in Tain district of the Bono Region, Nana Ababio Alexander has said Ghana should concentrate on Technical and Vocational Education in order to ensure effective development in the country.

He made the claim during his sworn in as the Mmrantehene of Debibi.

Nana Ababio explained that, most Ghanaians have despised Technical Education in the country.

“Everyone wants his ward to inherit public offices”.

However, every person has a specific special talent to keep him/her going.

Therefore, “the nation must give special attention to Technical and vocation training”.

He talked on the low standard education at his community.

He promised to organised quiz in every year for schools at the community so as to raise the scummy education at Debibi.

He pledged also that “brilliant students at Debibi would be given scholarships to a higher education”.

He said the youths in the community via his efforts would also be educated on proper mechanisms of farming in order to forgo the bad farming practices.
He believes, that will certainly help them generate a lot more of revenue.
