Tikromhene donates PPE’s to his community, calls on Ghanaians to strictly adhere to safety protocols

 

The Chief of Tikrom, a suburb of Ejisu in the Ashanti Region,  Nana Oti Awere II has advised his people in the community to stay safe and do whatever it takes to avoid contracting the deadly coronavirus because life is going to be much enjoyable than before after the pandemic is eradicated from the face of the earth.

“We must all adhere to all that experts are telling us to follow in order to prevent contracting the virus. If you obey all the protocols, I bet you, there is more enjoyment after the disease is over. The world is now going to be better and enjoyable; hence, those that will live after Covid -19 will take pleasure in this community.

Meanwhile, Nana Oti Awere II and his elders in the community have made provision of PPEs like, Hand Sanitizers, Facemasks, Veronica Buckets and  other health equipments for the people of Tikrom to stay safe from the virus.

Nana Oti Awere in an interview hinted that, to make life enjoyable and safe for his people the community is currently enrolling a lot of developmental projects to help improve the area however, their efforts would still need government’s support.

“I am therefore humbly appealing to the government through the Ministry of Roads and Highways to construct our road for us”, he said.

He disclosed that, they are currently building a community centre, police station, modern I.C.T centre and hostel for nurses and teachers in the community.

According to him, the community has realized most workers like nurses and teachers find it difficult to get accommodation. “Sometimes the community has to rent a place for them. We are therefore building a place to make life easier and enjoyable for them”.

The project, which is being finance by the traditional authority and the people of the area according to the proactive Chief has already commenced and is expected to be completed in five years.
